Accessibility statement
This site is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations are listed below, and we welcome accessibility feedback — contact us for accommodations. Visual styling preserves text contrast. Large, readable type supports children and older adults.
What we do

- Visible focus outlines
- Semantic headings and labeled dialogs
- Print stylesheet for Tax Impact and How to Vote
- Alt text on plan images; decorative logo alt where appropriate
- Reduced-motion alternatives for the 3D model and animated math comparisons where available
Known limitations
This page describes a design goal, not a certified conformance claim. An independent WCAG 2.1 AA audit has not been attached to this site.
- Third-party embeds: YouTube videos and the Google Maps embed on How to Vote are provided by external services. Their player and map UI may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, and transcripts or alternate map formats may be limited.
- Downloadable files: Official PDFs, JPEG plan sheets, and spreadsheets may not be fully tagged for assistive technology. If you need an accessible alternative format, contact us for accommodations.
- Interactive visuals: The home page 3D school model and some complex tax-math visuals include static or reduced-motion paths, but the interactive experience may still be harder to use with certain assistive technologies.
- Wide tables: Tables such as Tax Impact may require horizontal scrolling or keyboard navigation on small screens.
