What are the dimensions of the proposed school?
- Building
Schematic design notes describe a floor plan of about 10,510 gross square feet. Inside that layout, nine general classrooms are each planned between about 649 and 679 square feet, and two special-education classrooms are each planned between about 324 and 338 square feet. These are approximate design figures — not final as-built measurements.

How large is the planned storm shelter, and how many people can it hold?
- Building
- Storm shelter
Schematic design notes list a storm shelter of about 3,540 gross square feet. Using the notes’ rough allowance of about five square feet per person, that works out to about 394 people total (including two wheelchair spaces planned at 10 SF each), or about 331 people if the restroom block is left out. Treat these as approximate design-capacity notes, not a certified occupancy permit.

How many classrooms does the proposal include?
- Building
Public materials for the earlier April proposal (CWA Group flyer floor plan) show about six classroom-labeled spaces — an approximate schematic count, not a Transparency Act inventory. The revised proposal describes eleven classrooms: nine general classrooms plus two dedicated special-education rooms (11 = 9 + 2). Schematic design notes also list approximate room sizes for each type (see the dimensions FAQ).
